Curtis Thompson, a character in the Getaway Girls book, is the Main Character's father. He is first seen in Chapter 1.
Appearance
Curtis has short gray hair, brown eyes, dark skin, and a goatee. He wears a blue stripped suit with a purple handkerchief, a blue vest, a white shirt, a purple tie, and a golden leaf brooch.

Relationships
Main Character
Curtis is the Main Character's father. In Chapter 3, he calls her and is angry at her for leaving for the Bahamas, saying that she made a commitment to Kamali and that he/she needs her. Curtis calls the Main Character again in Chapter 7, telling her that Kam is crying and regrets what happened, and that her dream wedding venue just had a cancellation, meaning she can have her dream wedding.

- The surname Thompson is of English and Scottish origin, which means "child of Thomas". It derived from the surnames MacTavish and MacTamhais.
