Chloe St. James, a character in the Queen B series, is a student at Belvoire University and a potential member of Your Character's posse. She is first seen in Book 1, Chapter 1.
Appearance
Chloe has blue eyes, platinum blond hair and fair skin. She wears a white blouse with gem-decorated collar under a green sweater and a mustard yellow skirt.
Personality
Chloe is abrasive and rude to those she feels are beneath her. Because she is ranked #2 in the student list, she believes she is entitled to the same preferential treatment as Poppy does and considers herself to be second-in-command after Poppy.
Chloe is the middle child in her family, and as such, feels constantly overlooked by others. She feels confident in her dancing, and was captain of her high school cheerleading squad and three time national champion, but has to take a back seat to Poppy and the latter's ego.

Poppy Min-Sinclair
Chloe is one of Poppy Min-Sinclair's "minions" and you mentally assign her nicknames like "banshee" when you first meet her. According to Professor Kingsley's research about Poppy, Chloe was a timid student during her freshman year. When Poppy helps her "stand up for herself", Chloe's personality shifts and because she is grateful towards Poppy, she helps Poppy keep her Queen B status.
In Chapter 6, Poppy is livid that Chloe stole her top spot although the details as to how that was accomplished remain to be seen. At the secret Alphas and Zetas hideaway, she has a couple Alpha football players kick Chloe out when she comes. In Chapter 7, Poppy reveals to you what she had her boyfriend Bradley do. Apparently, he started liking all of Chloe's social media posts and private messaged her as if he was interested in her. She had him build up her self esteem and wanted him to destroy it publicly in front of clubgoers at Club Malibu. If you have been acting as a "good girl", you warn Chloe ahead of time not to believe Bradley so she is not as embarrassed as Poppy wanted her to be; if you've been the "bad girl", you don't warn her at all. The club scene effects her reputation, and by the end, Chloe has dropped back down to #2 and Poppy moves ahead to #1.
In Chapter 11, she and Poppy make out with each other during the bacchanalia. If you decide to recruit Chloe in Chapter 14, she tells you about how it used to be between her and Poppy. Poppy was her first friend at Belvoire. They had joined Zeta together and Poppy took Chloe under her wing, helped her update her wardrobe, and helped her increase her reputation. Poppy told her that they would be running Zeta together and the whole school would be under their heel. However, it has been two years and while Poppy has gotten everything that she has wanted, Chloe has been stuck being Poppy's sidekick. Chloe wants things to go back to the way they used to be, where Poppy wasn't so obsessed with staying number one and beating you, and where Poppy would have more time to spend with Chloe. She doesn't want you to destroy Poppy; she just wants people to pay attention to her for once. She thought she could be her own person at Belvoire but under Poppy, she has been overlooked for three years. Even though she loves Poppy, Chloe feels that she is always a step behind and never gets credit for her work. Poppy takes credit as the best dancer, but Chloe says that she herself has choreographed every halftime routine and never gets center stage.
Your Character
When you first arrive at Belvoire University, you come across Chloe shrieking like a banshee at another student. When you stand up to her, she immediately dislikes you and insults you. Apparently having read about you in the school's gossip blog, The T, she already believes you don't belong there and you don't know your place. In Chapter 2, when The T prints out a rumor that you cheated your way into the university, she admits that she had a freshman write it for her and submit it anonymously. In Chapter 7, Poppy works with you to get revenge on Chloe; depending on how you act, you will either tell the truth to Chloe (good girl) or keep the secret and let her get humiliated publicly (bad girl).
In Chapter 13, Chloe sees you in Poppy's room and asks you what you're doing there. If you decide to recruit her into your posse in Chapter 14, Chloe agrees to help you on the down-low. She thinks if you take the throne away from Poppy, that maybe Poppy will see that she doesn't have to hold on to being number one as tightly as she does. She tells you that she will deny everything if Poppy finds out, but she will give you a proper introduction to Poppy's parents, who will be at the gala as two of the most influential alums of the school.

- She shares the same surname as Leland St. James from the Red Carpet Diaries series and default surname of MC from Roommates with Benefits.
- As of Book 1, Chapter 6, she ranks in 1st place in Student Ranking. You help Poppy regain her rank so Chloe drops to 2nd place. If you do not improve your reputation, she regains 1st place when you push Poppy off her throne. At the beginning of Book 2, she ranks in 1st place by default (with your character's default rank as 12th place).
- She will be the winner of the person to watch award in Book 1, Chapter 16 if you don't win.
