Your Character
In Chapter 9, he attends the Beaumont Bash. During the party, you can ask him about his House, how he knows Barthelemy, or his hair care regime. All will cause Barthelemy to leave in a huff. Cedric tells you that he is barely part of the court and works as a businessman who happens to have an old title and comes from a very old house. If you ask him about his hair, he tells you that he divides his hair into equal segments, brushes each segment one hundred times, and goes counterclockwise.
At the party in your duchy, he suggests that your daughter try some caviar to demonstrate her dignified tastes. If you successfully feed it to her, he seems pleased and guesses that maybe she can tell it's rich in nutrients.
Barthelemy Beaumont
He and Barthelemy met at a party back in his father's day and Cedric thought that he was always a perfect gentleman; He then asks you if you can introduce him to King "Liam" as they have never formally met. It is revealed in Chapter 12 that he is the alleged heir to House Vescovi, and thus has the right to vote in the Coventus Nobilius. Barthelemy returns House Vescovi's lands to Cedric and reinstates his title. In appreciation of this, Cedric then casts the deciding vote in favor of Bathelemy for Regency.
In Chapter 17, you find out that when Barthelemy is crowned Regent, he plans to dismiss the current members of the Royal Council and replace them with his own people, including Cedric.
In Chapter 18 when Barthelemy's crimes are exposed, he pleads with you to not to put him in prison but neither you or your friends are willing to trust his word. He is thereby stripped off of all his lands and titles and is arrested for helping Barthelemy with his schemes.
Adelaide Amaranth
You can use him to ask Adelaide to dance in order to gain a clue. If you do, he argues about who should have the honor to boost their social standing and reputation with another nobleman.

Trivia
- His character model resembles Cyrus Vescovi from The Royal Masquerade.
- Although Cedric states he is the "grandson of the grandson of the grandson to the lost child of Cyrus Vescovi" (which would make him the 5th great grandson), he is more realistically the 13th great grandson as The Royal Masquerade is set in the year 1600 and by the year 2020, approximately 15 generations have passed.
- His crimes include aiding and abetting.
