Villains

Villains are antagonists that the protagonists have to deal with, and a "step down" from the Big Bads of their book(s) or series. Villains can be criminals, tyrants, or just mean people. They are not the leaders or the alphas in their group of friends, and can be considered "secondary" or "tertiary" to the Big Bads themselves.

"Big Bads" may be categorized as "Villains" in the beginning of books/series until it is determined whether or not they qualify to be promoted into the "Big Bads" category.
