Antagonists

Antagonists are the principal source of conflict for the protagonists (Main Character / Your Character) in their respective book(s) and/or series. Most often, the antagonist is a bad guy, a villain, but he/she doesn't necessarily have to be. He/she may be someone who just has a different agenda than Your Character; he/she may oppose Your Character but he/she is not a bad person per se.

The Antagonists category is the main category. Subcategories include:

• Villains
• Big Bads

where Antagonists can be considered "level 1" broad scope, Villains are "level 2", and Big Bads are "level 3" boss-mode.
