Cassandra, a character in the Baby Bump series, is an old friend of the Covington family and presumed to be romantically linked to Mr. Covington, thereby making her your rival for his attention. She is first seen in Book 1, Chapter 1.
Appearance
Cassandra has green eyes, blonde hair tied in a low bun, and fair skin. She wears a white dress with floral print.
Personality
Cassandra is arrogant and condescending. Mr. Covington tells your character that Cassandra was always the type to would use any occasion to flaunt her money, no matter the cause. He also adds that she has always acted like she is above everyone else, and that the only people worth anything to her are those who are wealthy.
In Book 2, when Cassandra helps you with Mayor Dixon's reelection campaign, she tells you that she will be honest in her assessments and not placate you or your friends when needed.

Relationships
Mr. Covington
Cassandra's family has been long time friends with Mr. Covington's family, to the point that his mother gave her an engagement ring even though he hadn't personally proposed to her. They have known each other since they were kids.
In Chapter 12, Mr. Covington finally confronts Cassandra. Before, he was abiding by your wishes to handle Cassandra yourself but after watching her tear into you again, he has words with her at the governor's gala. He says he used to enjoy her company, but that she's changed for the worse. He tells her to back off but she laughs at his threats.
Your Character
When you arrive at Mr. Covington's home to tell him the news, Cassandra opens the door and immediately insults you. She shows you her "engagement ring" and kicks you to the curb. In Chapter 3, she shows up at Luisa's restaurant's reopening, calling you a homewrecker and trailer trash. This continues in Chapter 4 where you have the premium option of throwing a drink in her face. Whatever you decide to do, you must swallow your pride by the end of the chapter as you must ask her to help you with a fundraiser for Bao's dance club renovations.
In Chapter 12, at the governor's gala, you find out that she spoke to the governor and persuaded him to cut the funding on the mayor's renovation project. Even though she has always hated attending, she went specifically to undermine you.
In Book 2, although she still doesn't believe you're as good as she is, she tells you that you didn't deserve what Jebediah said to you. She also says that watching your friends rally around you has shown her what she is missing in her life: friends that actually care about her. With that and the fact that she is also disgusted by Craig Finch and his father, she offers to help you sway the Gracetown Council members to you and Mayor Dixon's ideas on renovations.
At your wedding reception, she apologizes again for how she treated you when you first arrived to Gracetown.
Gavin Covington
If you decide to, you can push both Gavin and Cassandra to recognize their feelings for each other. If you decide to incorporate the "spin the wheel" game that your sister brought into your wedding reception, Cassandra's spin asks her who her first crush was. She admits that it wasn't Mr. Covington, but that her first crush was Gavin. If you aim your bouquet at her during the bouquet toss, she is flustered at being the next to marry but Gavin reassures her that they will just go wherever their lives take them.
Craig Finch
Craig only appears to be interested in Cassandra due to her looks and her family's status. However, she finds him repulsive. Although she sides with you against him, in the beginning she is hesitant to take a stand against him due to his relationship with the governor.
