Relationships

Your Character

You meet him for the first time when you move into Sam's apartment, and he offers to help you with your bags. He also mentions that Sam spoke highly of you and that you'll be the perfect addition to the family. When you finish hanging out with the twins in Chapter 2, you call him to come pick you up but there's no answer, which leads to you taking the subway instead. When you visit the market in Chapter 3 to find inspiration for Sam's birthday dinner, he helps you find the perfect meal by describing what Sam likes. He also visits you with Sam and the twins at the hospital in Chapter 18, and he's truly glad to see that you are well. When Sofia exposes your affair with Sam in Chapter 19 and chaos ensues, Carter rushes to your side and helps you escape.

Mason and Mickey

Carter and the twins are close. Whenever you are busy with Sam or have any other obligations, Carter takes care of babysitting the twins, such as Chapter 12 when Sam convinces you to be his/her plus one at the Gala.

Sam Dalton

Sam is Carter's employer. If you take the premium scene in Chapter 20 to see how Sam called off the wedding with Sofia, Carter tells him/her that if they leave now, they can make it to the airport in time to get you.

Trivia

  • His character model resembles Horace from The Senior.
  • The name Carter is of Irish, Scottish, and English origin and means "transporter of goods by cart", thus it's an occupational name given to one who transports goods by cart or wagon ultimately of Irish and Celtic derivation. It's also an Irish reduced form of the name McCarter or the Scottish-Gaelic Mac Artair with Mc meaning "son of".
