Candlelight Games is a company founded in 2024 by former Pixelberry employees. In September 2024, the company announced their concepts for their first game set in an original fantasy world which they plan to release in the first half of 2025 on iOS, Android, and PC. The project name as of September 2024 was Project Spellstruck before it was changed to LOVE & MAGIC: SPELLFYRE in May 2025.[1] The game is set to be released in 2025.

Love & Magic: Spellfyre

Initially announced under the codename Project Spellstruck, this is the first story saga under Candlelight Games.

Compared to Choices, this would be released separately as per-series format instead of having multiple series titles under a single app.

It will be a gender-of-choice, multiple-love interest narrative game set in a magic school. The game announcement describes it as "a fantasy game with elements of action, time management, and romance, perfect for fans of Dragon Age, Persona, or Fourth Wing, and Choices titles like Blades of Light and Shadow or The Elementalists."[3]

Plot Summary

"Eighteen years ago, the dark arcane Andros Dreadbane was defeated, and Elderwood University was established to protect young arcanes from corruption. Now, it’s time for Dreadbane’s only heir to enroll. But when every student wants you dead—including your infuriatingly attractive rival—will you step out of your father’s shadow, or embrace the darkness within?"[4]
