The good, the bad, and the almost irrelevant. They are the miscellaneous characters that are there to answer that one question, explain away that one plot hole, assist in adding development to that actually relevant character, or give that good (or bad) advice. We usually never learn their names. They are there and they are gone as soon as they serve their purpose often never to be seen again. They may not be the most memorable but definitely have a role to play. In her ‘reading' of Adrian she says: “You've lived a long time...you are wise beyond your appearance. But something is stuck in you. Something you cannot help but repeat over and over...” At this point, Adrian becomes visibly surprised, but she continues. “There is a darkness you must overcome before you can move forward. There is something...” She ends the reading here because whatever came next made her terrified. Trembling she insists Adrian take his money back and your character realizes how afraid of Adrian she is. After walking off you ask Adrian if she was a real psychic. Her character model resembles Mrs. Clark from Ride or Die: A Bad Boy Romance.

She tells you she is with Marcel, to the surprise of you and Lily, who thought there were only six clans. You learn from her that there are six clans in New York City are simply the most powerful factions, but there are “a few” others throughout New York State. She also tells you the city clans exercise authority over out of city clans who don't have a representation in the council, and they are allowed less members. (so <30) In Chapter 10, during the attack on the castle, she is bit by a Feral and you witness her turning in the aftermath. Though it's mentioned that “dozens” of prisoners are present, only one man and one woman make on-screen appearances. While begging for release, the shown female prisoner mentions she has a daughter out there who needs her.
After rescuing Adrian, you hear more guards arriving. After this, the prisoners are never seen or mentioned again.

If you choose to free all the prisoners at The Shrike, one of the freed prisoners is a child vampire boy in old-fashioned clothing. If you go back to get him, he will briefly speak to you in Russian. When he asks who you are, you don't understand him; regardless you tell him your name. He responds “and I am Vladimir, Hi!”* in a friendly manner. Since your character doesn't know Russian she doesn't realize he is introducing himself, so his name remains as “strange child” in his name template. When you're both targeted by one of the Baron's guards (McGinty), Vladimir tells him that the latter had made a mistake before easily overpowering him and gauging his eyes out while "moving faster than any vampire you've seen." He later returns with the other freed prisoners in Chapter 15 to help during the fight against the Ferals. He shares the same character model as Simon Waverley from The Haunting of Braidwood Manor.

Jen
She's one of the newly-turned Shadow Den vampires. She befriended a Clanless vampire while human and asked to be turned. This seems to have been at least partly due to her teenage obsession with Twilight, although the main reason was her desire to stay with her Clanless friend.
Jen is shy and Lily attempts to bring her out of her shell by teaming with her in an underground wrestling match. This goes badly when Lily accidentally draws blood on one of their opponents and Jen succumbs to her hunger. Lily may manage to restrain her own bloodlust, depending on player choice, but she is unable to contain Jen until Kamilah arrives to get the situation under control. Her character model resembles a version of Perdita Stone from Murder at Homecoming.
Gordon
He's one of the the Risen who hunts down anyone attempting to flee their territory. Jax can choose to either stab him or cut off his hand during their first encounter, which only fuels his hatred for Jax and the other 'Unclaimed' vampires. He attempts to kill all of them during their final confrontation by setting fire to an oilspill at their feet. If Jax retrieved weapons for the others, Roland kills Gordon before he can drop his match directly into the oil. The fire spreads more slowly and everyone is able to escape. If Roland's group was unarmed, Jax is unable to kill Gordon before the flames engulf the others, leaving many burned and Maria dead. His character model resembles Wade from Platinum.

Roland
He's the leader and protector of a group of Unclaimed vampires who live in hiding after attempting to escape the Risen. He saves Jax from Gordon and Barrett and reveals that he's a member of the Risen himself. He explains that the group originated with the goal of enforcing secrecy among vampires, to protect them from humans, but that it gradually shifted towards power-hungry subjugation of other vampires instead. Roland used his inside access to save as many Unclaimed as he could and provide them with temporary shelter.
Roland knows there's no safe place for them within Risen territory, but since he has no evidence of a safer place up north, he's hesitant to act on that rumor to avoid giving his people false hope. Once Jax insists it's worth a try, however, Roland follows his lead. They manage to escape to New York City, where Roland plans to keep the group together and perhaps find other vampires in need of a community. He won't forget how Jax helped them and promises to come running if he ever needs anything. His character model resembles Callum from Wolf Bride.
Maria
She's one of Roland's refugees. If Jax takes the premium option to steal weapons from the Risen to arm the group, she insists on accompanying him. The two of them bond during the mission, with Jax convincing her not to risk her life in pursuit of futile vengeance. If the group tries to escape without the stolen weapons, Maria does not survive the fight. If she does survive, she urges Jax not to forget them when they part ways in New York. Her character model resembles Sonja Dormer from Crimes of Passion.
Dorea
She's one of Roland's most loyal followers. Although she was initially distrustful of Jax, she later considers him part of their found family. She wants him to stay with the group once they make it to New York, and hugs him in farewell when he chooses to strike out on his own instead. Her character model resembles a version of your sister from Wake the Dead.
Logan
He's one of Roland's refugees. He's resentful about being left for dead by his own maker and determined to never be under Risen rule again. His character model resembles Garrote from Wake the Dead.
Josiah
He's one of Roland's refugees. He was once claimed as part of the Risen, but that status was temporary and implied to have been revoked on a whim. He's the first to die during the group's escape from Risen territory. His character model resembles the local from Blades of Light and Shadow, Book 1.
Hunter (3)
She's one of the Risen guards on the Watchtower during Jax and Maria's mission to infiltrate it in search of weapons. She comes across them mid-heist, but is unable to stop them from escaping with their haul and sabotaging the Risen's alarm system. She's among those who later hunt the group down, and is killed by Jax or Maria.
Although she is referred to as she/her initially, a later scene uses he/him instead. Given the numerous grammatical errors in the book, the latter pronouns seem likely to be a mistake. Her character model resembles Minako from Perfect Match.
Hunter (4)
He is one of the Risen guards looking after the Watchtower while Jax and Maria sneak inside to steal weapons. His character model resembles Robert Gunderson from Open Heart.
