Flashback: Rheya, Gaius, and Xenocrates are in the throne room in Mydiea, expressing their worries about rival cities and a group of loyalists to King Kaelisus called the Sons of Ares. While Xenocrates expresses a desire to publicly execute the loyalists to demonstrate their power, Rheya is hesitant to resort to violence and fear because she doesn't want to be like Kaelisus. Demetrious, Rheya's lover from when she was human, arrives and suggests more peaceful methods such as trade negotiatons and bribery, which Rheya accepts. Gaius and Xenocrates look at each other with concern in their eyes. | ||||||

Flashback: In the year 1887 in Devil's End, Arizona, patrons of a saloon are being robbed by an outlaw called Bloody Bart. The bartender fixes the outlaw a drink but accidently spills it on him due to his hands shaking. Bloody Bart kills the bartender by sinking his teeth into his neck, revealing that he and his gang members are Vampires. Adrian and Kamilah enter the saloon, having tracked the criminals from New York. Bart refuses to go with them because he doesn't want to kneel before Gaius and a fight breaks out, ending with Adrian and Kamilah killing all of the criminals. They discuss how Gaius had ordered them to kill any witnesses but decide against it as nobody would believe the eyewitness accounts. They report back to Gaius and lie to him that they did as he ordered. | ||||||

Flashback: Adrian, Kamilah, Lily, and Jax are back at Adrian's office following their battle with Gaius, with all of them expressing grief at your character's death or feeling that they didn't do enough to save you. Whoever your love interest is takes your death the hardest and expresses their love for you. Adrian pulls out a bottle of wine and your friends make a toast in your honor. | ||||||

Flashback: It is Feudal Japan, 1294. The Flashback shows Aiko Namakura and Kamilah Sayeed sipping sake in an elegant chamber of the Namakura castle. Aiko asks why Kamilah came here on her travels. Kamilah replies that she came to see her after news about her father's declining health. Aiko says that he is not fit and that she is giving orders and soon, all the men would be forced to address her as the leader. Kamilah replies that the people would be grateful to have a woman like Aiko to rule them. She also asks her about a husband. Aiko confides in her that she is not interested in men. Then, Gaius and Takeshi Watanabe enter in Japanese warrior costume. Takeshi says that they had won the battle due to Gaius's fighting. However, Aiko replies: "But a battle won here and there means nothing if the war is lost." Takeshi asks what she means and Aiko replies that she had been troubled by Gaius's and Kamilah's insistence to stay inside during the day, their inhumane strength, and the recent disappearances and levels an attack towards them. Gaius grows furious, but Kamilah controls him. She explains they are creatures as ancient as powerful, but that they want anything that a human wants: Adventure, Sanctuary and Peace. Aiko asks what they would give her if she provided that sanctuary. Kamilah reveals her fangs and answers "Eternal Life" and turns them. | ||||||

Flashback: In 1982, Margot tries to feed off an Unnamed Young Man. Jax Matsuo, a Clanless trained vampire exacts his revenge by tracking her down. Margot engages a fight with Jax and Jax decapitates her. Takeshi, Jax's Maker scolds him for his reckless actions that would cause the Council members to be suspicious of what has happened. Jax defends himself that he did what he did so that way Margot will not harm another person similar to what happened to him. Takeshi agrees and tells Jax that he has done well. |

Flashback: The Order of Dawn makes plans to exterminate all vampires after the incident with Xenocrates's death. Rheya barges in with Serafine Dupont and Vlad Tepes to raise arms against the Order while Rheya prepares for her dark plans. | ||||||

Flashback: Back in Mydiea, Rheya and Gaius are staring at a village from the top of a hill. Rheya believes the Sons of Ares, who killed her family, are within this village and it has to be purged. Gaius believes there are innocent humans there and doesn't want to kill them. Rheya says no human is innocent and tries to manipulate Gaius into killing them. She says they will come for them and take her from Gaius and he'll be alone, abandoned, unloved. Gaius says he cannot do this. This prompts Rheya to reach deep into Gaius' soul, alter him, bend him to her will. She doesn't change much, just enough. She smothers his compassion for humans, his empathy, his capacity for understanding, closes off just enough of his decency. When she's done, she orders Gaius to kill them all. Gaius complies and charges down the hillside toward the village. | ||||||

Flashback: In the Graveyard Shift tavern, Kamilah and Adrian meet with Serafine Dupont. Kamilah and Adrian are still with Gaius and Serafine is an adventurer. Serafine senses that Gaius sent them to kill her but they ask her if she was responsible for the Murder at New Waverly. Serafine replies that she was not responsible and the three drink together with her sharing with Adrian and Kamilah that life should be enjoyed with fun and free of worry. She also warns Kamilah and Adrian that Gaius is not what he seems. |

Flashback: After Xenocrates pushed Rheya to the Tree of Life, Gaius is mourning for Rheya's loss. He lashes out at Xenocrates for what he had done. Xenocrates calmly defends his actions that after Rheya lost her daughter and her beloved to the Sons of Ares, she had became mad with power. Xenocrates goes as far as stating that Rheya doesn't care for anyone but herself. Xenocrates and Gaius fights until they meet a standstill. Xenocrates gives Gaius a choice to either join him to clean up Rheya's sins or leave. Gaius chooses death but Xenocrates cannot bring himself to kill Gaius. Instead, he sadly bids Gaius farewell and leaves. | ||||||
Bonus Scene (Epilogue)
One year after Rheya's defeat, the relationship between humans and vampires has taken a drastic turn for the better. In a cabin in upstate New York, Lula Jacobs and a Vampire Girl resembling Jane Marshall play with action figures resembling Kamilah and Gaius. Dracula, if alive, tries to make a living in Las Vegas but no one is interested in his show. Priya, if alive, drinks fourteen Mai Tai and shows interest in a shirtless cabana boy. If you persuaded Serafine to abandon Rheya, she is in a newly rebuilt club in Paris, toasting to life. If you didn't have her join your side, she starts a loyalist movement called the Daughters of Rheya and plans to avenge her Goddess. In Japan, The Five are discussing the Japanese government pressuring them to open their country to foreign vampires. While some of them express their annoyance, Kano expresses his pride in you. If you spare Gaius, he saves a young woman from a werewolf in Sweden. If Jax dies, a youth center is built in his honor with Akeyo Kwangi acting as a martial arts instructor. If Jax survives, he is the combat instructor for a youth center built in Lily's honor. If Lily survives, she is acting as a script supervisor for a movie based off of the story's events, directed by Tommy Phelps. Adrian has become the new Senator for New York and the chairman of the Vampire-Human Relations Committee. Nikhil, if alive, is his Chief of Staff. Kamilah is shown happily tending to her plants. Whoever your love interest is, it is revealed that the two of you have either officially moved in together or got married.
