So I got a lot of help lately for learning to edit and while I still have a lot (I mean A LOT) to learn, I still want to make a blog for the things I allready did learn from others. So that I can look it up for future reference in one spot instead of trying to remember who said what and where to me. (this sentence on it's own is allready confusing, so you get what I mean) I am really grateful for all your help and patience :) And if anyone have things to add, then please: I want to learn it all. And if anyone like me wants to learn how to do things, then I hope this will be useful for you as well

I've noticed Sunkissed wasn't yet added to the Recent Releases page. How do you add a new Choices title, i.e. Sunkissed, that has 2 new chapters? Do you put both chapters in or just the latest chapter of that book?

Thursday, Jun 20, which also happens to be my 21st birthday, marks one year since I started tuning in to the Choices Channel. Actually, I tried Choices in December 2017, but at that time there are no other ways to earrn diamonds (I just don't want to spend real money), so after completing TC&TF and ILITW, I deleted the app. Then, on my birthday last year, I installed Choices again, and when I discovered you can watch ads for diamonds after playing each chapter, I was stoked, and so I officially joined the Choices community. As for this wiki, I found it in September last year, so I've been here for nine months already.
At that time I (officially) started playing, ES and HSS were already completed not long ago, TRR was on its 3rd season, RCD …Read more >
As I've said in the discussions, I'm not writing reviews on The Royal Heir. Instead, I'm chronicling it as some sort of annals per chapter.

Following SapphosDaughter's blog post: https://choices-stories-you-play.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:SapphosDaughter/Quasi_Love_Interests , while Fearless Diva works on the "Not-Meant-To-Be" category/page for quasi love interests, we threw around the idea of creating a category for secondary character love interests and came up with "Playing Cupid" since most of the time, we need to "encourage" (usually with diamonds) the characters to get together. We are not including books/series with mulitple-POVs or dual-POVs (like RoE, AtV, TC&TF, LH). I think the only exception to that is ACoR because instead of playing as all family members, we only played as MC, Mom, and Dad and we had to recruit MC's brother (for diamonds) in the end.

Hi, everyone. We've had a pretty tempestuous few days here. Someone has been trying to cause trouble for this wikia and unlike other times when someone has done this, they have been sneakier about it. If you've been here long enough you will likely remember a user that started making a bunch of changes to the wikia more than a year ago. This user made a lot of us uncomfortable and I know I was ready to quit editing entirely. I wasn't going to leave the wikia, but I was going to stick entirely to the comment sections and leave the editing to others. This user just wanted to make things so different from what we were doing. He asked on multiple occasions to be made an admin, all the while subtly trying to undermine the authority of Wolf and …Read more >
In Book 2 Aster is doing some more branching. If you like, you can help me, if you think I missed something.
“Someone's coming...” This is where the whole of Penn's square turns into a chaos because of an unexpected storm.
“MC, the trees say he'll arrive in a moment.” This is just before Kane appears on the square.
This is a really small branching she did. They were looking for Greygarden to see if he had some more information about Gemma.
She uses her branching here apparently for making a shield from the wooden tables in the teahouse. I didn't know before she could do that. Maybe she is learning to use her branching in new ways, or maybe this was a possibility all along.
At the end of chapter 12, Aster is …

I think Aster's branching is a very interesting thing in The Elementalists, so in this blog I try to sum up all her branching out and what I thought about it at the time the chapters were released. And see if I recognize the meaning of it, now that the book is finished.
This was the first time she did it. I still don't know exactly what this was about. I think, maybe, the trees could allready feel what MC didn't know yet: That he/she is a Sun-Att. I thought it was very creepy seeing it the first time. Making her face all dark and eyes all black.

Hey Everyone! Name's Kian, I've been kinda hooked on choices for a few months now and was interested in setting up a discord server for the commmunity. Now that it's all set up (and I got approval to share it) I'm happy to announce you can join the Choices: Stories You Play Unofficial Community Discord here! It is still very much in it's infantry and needs a lot of additional information (like, ya know, rules) and I've already added discussion tabs for the most recently updated games, however it wouldn't be too hard to always add more chat rooms for more games if requested. I sincerely hope you all enjoy your time there! If anyone has any questions please let me know, I'd be happy to help. Thanks!

I have been trying to write up a preliminary guide for walkthroughs in order to start a discussion on the topic for over a year. As if has been over a year and I not only don't have such a preliminary guide, but I have actually lost the progress on it I did make (it's out there somewhere, I just don't know where), I am writing this instead in order to start that discussion on a blog post.
Whether you help write them or not, you have probably used them to help you get through a chapter and most likely far more than that. You likely have some opinion on things involving them and this is the place to discuss them.
There are some things that are most likely easy to agree on, such as the use of asterisks to list the different options for choices.…Read more >

I hope you had a wonderful week. I asked Diva for permission and I got it. I am making this blog to discuss the possibility of adding Choices' TVTropes to the wiki and some of the facts and trivia points there to book pages or its own page.
This addition will benefit WIKIA. It will allow people to get a glimpse into the thought process behind some book, the sources that the authors used as inspirations for some books and some fun facts related to tropes and cliches used throughout the Choices app.
This addition can be either added as a page/section of its own or we can take some facts and trivia points and add them to the associated book. Both seem like a good approach and a useful one.
Here is some of the related materia…Read more >

So I decided to do something that I haven't done before when I installed Choices: replay a book. I decided to replay The Crown & The Flame, Book 1 because I want that bear to be a part of my army. I NEED it. Oh, and also to get the weapons, new clothing, yadda yadda.
But since those choices I'm collecting still require diamonds, I'm really taking my time with this by doing chapters from The Heist: Monaco, Desire & Decorum, Book 2, A Courtesan of Rome, Ride or Die: A Bad Boy Romance, Book 1, etc. Since, I'm an impatient person by trade, this will be a teaching yet boring experience.
By the way, when I completed The Heist: Monaco, I found that if you don't have enough diamonds for some choices, you actually WON'T build trust, which is just STUPI…Read more >

Hi there, everyone.
This blog post is about two ideas that I've recently come up with for the home page of the wikia. I was told to create a blog post and get a feel of what the community thinks about it, so if you agree with my ideas or even if you disagree, please post it in the comments below. :)
So, my first idea is that we create a slider and put it in the place of the central picture we have right now. Below is an example of things that can be added to the slider:
I think that this will add something fresh to page as well as giving people extremely easy access to pages that they might not even have thought of, like the Soundtracks pages which I'm sure not all of people actually know about, as well as the About The Game page.

What does everybody on this wikia think about what I think about adding? I'm thinking about adding in a new category called 'Determinant Characters', where the page displays all of the characters whose status is determined by the player's choices, whether they live or die. As creating a blog post was reccommended to see how everybody thinks of this, what does anybody think? Please leave an answer of your honest opinion.

I think we should create a page about quasi-love interests. After speaking to Fearless Diva, she told me to make a blog post about this and see what frequent editors thought.
Quasi LIs are basically LIs you can flirt with and/or have romantic interactions with but for all intents and purposes you can’t end up with them, for whatever reason. They seem to be a interesting feature, though slightly pointless at times.
(SPOILERS FOR AME BOOK 2 FINALE AHEAD) For example, in America's Most Eligible: Season 10, Bianca Sandoval is an LI as much as Mackenzie, Adam or Drake. You can even go on the holiday with her, provided you had romanced her earlier in the book and won AME Season 10. However, in Book 2, she is no longer an LI (past you greeting her …Read more >

After asking for permission and feedback from Diva, I wanted to share this idea with you and see what you think about it
Why don't we add a category called "spin-off books" and add it to the books like Nightbound
Also in the spin-off series, we mention the original one like with the following formatting
Original Series: Bloodbound
Book Number: 1
EDIT: After looking into the positive comments and how you guys love the idea, I think we should start looking into which book to add and we need also to find the books that share the same universe, like RoE and TRR.Read more >
I know I haven't been on this wiki for a while, but I'm back for now with something to say.
I have completed The Crown & The Flame, Book 1 and The Crown & The Flame, Book 2, but it took me a long time to complete those. Here's why: some choices cost diamonds, right? So I will often go complete other stories and obtain diamonds in order to make the special choice. Right now, I'm playing The Crown & The Flame, Book 3 and I'm collecting 16 diamonds in order to recruit Lia.
By the way, this is also the reason I have managed to complete America's Most Eligible: All Stars. I ended up completing this book so I could have diamonds for The Crown & The Flame, Book 3. I'm also doing chapters from Passport to Romance, High School Story: Class Act, Book 2…Read more >

The task of filling out which characters have been in which chapters, is a fairly easy task. However, there are certain cases where sometimes it is not so straight-forward; in addition to that, there is also the case of knowing the layout in which these chapter appearances should be formatted in. I know a lot of people have been reserving judgement lately on Choices, but enough is enough. I really feel they are heading down a very bad path.
Let's take a look at all the messes they've thrown out and mistakes they've been making:

- WT (gender-locked for no reason)
- RCD Book 2 mess (boring, horrible handling of plotline/characters) (gender-locked for no reason)
- AME: All Stars (arguably a book with lots of negative reception from the community due to changes made/boring plotline)
- AME: Wedding Edition (enough said)

In The Heist: Monaco, we're introduced to "The Rooks". Even during the novel's loading screen, the words appear that they're the most elite organization of thieves. Granted, most of their interactions are hidden by a paywall (meaning that you need to spend diamonds to learn more about them by recruiting Niles Edison and/or freeing Whisper), this blog post is to get your opinions on if you think The Rooks deserve a group page, like The Society or Shrapnel's Henchmen, and/or Whisper and/or the Broker deserve individual pages. After research and the wracking of my brain for a few hours, I feel as if I have come up with proof that the group of nine are based upon gods of mythology and more. Let’s start with Gemma because she was the first Source introduced to us. I believe she is based on Gaia, the mother of Earth in Greek mythology. She is the Source of Earth magick just as Gaia (Gaea) is the personification of Earth itself. Also, their names are pretty similar. Hey everyone! We know Hero Vol. 2 will be released sometime next year in 2020, but I (or we) wonder what will be new?
Here are a couple of suggestions I have that hopefully Choices will put in book 2:
- Learn more about the MC's home planet (or Dimension) and the MC's birth parents.
- New villains to battle against that won't be boring.
- New training scenes to earn new powers for current heroes.
- Add 2 or 3 more LIs with Grayson, Kenji, and Eva.
- More Supersuits for heroes and villains for player to choose.
Diva asked to make a blog post because some of us asked if Wishful Thinking should also get a fantasy label and/or category. It is confirmed in the trailer that MC's reading minds is indeed telepathy which makes it likely a Choices version of the movie What Women Want (2000). Said movie is labelled on Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/What_Women_Want in the introduction as "romantic fantasy comedy", so I personally think we can also add fantasy to Wishful Thinking. I am not talking about removing romance or comedy, but adding fantasy to the list.
Please weigh in on the topic. Do you think it should additionally get a fantasy label or do you think it should remain as romance and comedy only?Read more >

Hey guys. I want to get your opinion on three certain criminals, especially after the latest chapter of Ride or Die.
Do you think that Colt, Mona, and Ximena are psychopaths? Here's my reasoning:
In Chapter 11, Colt basically admitted that he wants to be a crime boss. He is also perfectly fine with setting someone up to die. Granted, said person is another criminal, but that could still count as being an accessory to murder. Mona and Ximena also seem perfectly fine with it, they don't care that they could be sentencing someone to death.

I know this doesn't sound very optimistic, but I have to say it. Almost every recent book is painfully filled with it (looking at you, PtR), so I must speak my mind before I get too mad on Pixelberry for ruining their great game.
1. General overuse of common clichés
- Rom-com clichés - forced engagement, good bad boys, last-minute rescue, parties till dawn... oh, and another one, which becomes a standard. MC is always late for something important. A lecture, a usual day at work, anything else - if we're the MC, we're late for something. Can't we follow the time for once?
