Relationships
Your Character
You first meet Bishop Monroe in the hallway outside your father's chambers. He tells you that your father has been asking for you. He tells you that your father has not had much family visit him recently, only a few friends and colleagues. He blesses you before you enter your father's room. He reappears in Chapter 13 during Vincent's funeral. In Chapter 15, you try to convince him at Duke Richards' ball that you are the rightful heir to Edgewater. However, it is revealed that he accepts Henrietta's offer to donate money to make him vote for her. He was the one who annulled the wedding of your parents. In Chapter 16, you can choose to listen to him explain what happened with their annulment.
In Book 2, Chapter 15, before for your wedding, you can listen to his memories about your father and brother in a premium scene in the same chapter.
Vincent
If you choose to have your father tell you about his wedding to your mother, Bishop Monroe (previously, Priest Monroe) was the one who officiated. However, when Vincent brought your mother to Edgewater, Rupert forced the priest to annul the marriage.
Rupert
As soon as Rupert discovered his son had married your mother, he called upon Bishop Monroe to the Edgewater Estate and threatened to destroy the parish (as it was and currently is located on Edgewater property) if Monroe did not annul the marriage. Bishop Monroe says he had never heard such threats or witnessed such cruelty as he did from Rupert.
