This book was first announced via the release schedule of the October 2024 Choices Insiders.^[1]
In the November 2024 Choices Insiders, PB confirmed that this book would star a female only main character.^[2]
- However the following day, PB put out an update saying that this book would actually star a gender customizable main character.^[3]
On November 20, 2024, the release date was revealed in-app to be November 29.
On November 27, 2024, PB released a sneak peek of the book.^[4]
- Later that day, a sneak peek of your character was released.^[5]
On November 28, 2024, a sneak peek of the love interest was released.^[6]
- Later that day, PB posted a sneak peek of Andy, your significant other.^[7]

Trivia

As opposed to the standard of releasing the first two chapters at once for all non-sequels, only the first chapter became available on Best Served Haute's release day.
- On December 4, 2024, PB stated in an Instagram reply that the non-standard chapter release schedule is because this book will be shorter than normal.^[8]
