Background
Bernice was the hunted by the Entity long before you were born, and she lived an isolated life in an effort to keep the people around her from falling victim to the bad luck which plagued her. She settled for a time in Hidden Grove, where she took a job at a diner and attempted to guard herself through protective charms and herblore. Eventually the growing effects of the Entity's presence led to her being judged a threat by the local werewolf pack, and she was put on trial and ordered to leave for the safety of the town.
