Relationships

Your Character

Attorney is your legal representation in your divorce from Pat Ransic. In Chapter 4, Trishana causes Attorney to realize that he/she has fallen for you, mentioning that it has been a long time since she's seen a dom fall this hard.

In Chapter 5, you come to Attorney asking to learn to become a "sub" in the BDSM world, and wanting Attorney to be your dom/me. Even if Attorney tries to discourage you from pursuing this interest, Attorney agrees to be your mentor. Attorney gives you lessons about a variety of "dom/sub" topics, such as denial and indulgence, explaining that anticipation and prolonging sensations leads to heightened responses.

In Chapter 11, despite Attorney's best efforts, he/she succumbs to his/her desires and you two become intimate. It is your decision whether to keep the intimacy more "vanilla" or make it more spicy, and Attorney agrees to your request. Afterwards in Chapter 12, Attorney feels the intimacy is "sweet" and is angry at himself/herself for feeling that way. Although Attorney wants to push you away and doesn't believe that he/she is good for you in the long-term, he/she explains the aftereffect of such intimacy, calling it "sub-drops", an endorphin dive that happens after an intense emotional and physical session. Attorney can either pamper you or talk you through the steps of sub-drops, and later that week, when you are excited about your job, Attorney can celebrate your win over lunch or text you congratulations.

After meeting with Pat Ransic and being surprised by the information Pat has about the relationship between the two of you, Attorney agrees to be your dom/me fully and decides to take you away from it all with a trip to Paris.

Pat Ransic

Pat Ransic is a property lawyer who Attorney has met in the past, having seen the former's handiwork up close in depositions for other clients. Although Attorney doesn't like Pat, Attorney says that they are somewhat alike, in the fact they both play head games with their opposition as part of being good attorneys.

In Chapter 12, when Attorney is supposed to meeting Pat's team of attorneys to discuss a preliminary divorce settlement, Pat surprises Attorney by showing up himself/herself. Pat tells Attorney that he/she fired his/her attorneys and has decided to represent himself/herself. Pat mocks that divorce law is not "real law" so it can't be difficult. Despite Pat's goading, Attorney remains calm and dominant in his/her gaze, forcing the sub in Pat to have the latter look away. When Pat tells Attorney that he/she knows about your new residence, Attorney is surprised but ends the meeting, wanting to buy time to look into how Pat received this information.

Trishana

Although they both know of each other's reputation, Attorney and Trishana do not meet until the former seeks the latter out in an attempt to have her control her sub, Pat. In Chapter 4, she tells Attorney that she will not go on record for anything and refuses to provide direct testimony or a depostion about her relationship with Pat. However, when Attorney offers her a future favor in return, Trishana agrees to help. She says if Attorney wants to win you, he/she will need all the help he/she can get.

Natalia

Natalia is Attorney's former sub. Of all Attorney's previous subs, she was his/her favorite. They had a relationship that ended approximately one year ago. When they run into each other in Chapter 4, Attorney realizes that he/she has had more fun teasing you during the past week than he/she has ever had with Natalia and turns down her proposition.

James Anderson

He is Attorney's bodyguard. He is aware of Attorney's preferences for the BDSM. However, he didn't interfere, which he/she appreciated. When Attorney becomes conflicted over his/her feelings towards you, James can tell the change in his/her demeanor.

Reese

Reese is Attorney's half-sister. Among her family members, she is the only one who has a good relationship with Attorney. He/She bailed her out of jail for her protest activities in Chapter 6. There is a chance for him/her to tell their family off for their actions, which Reese will appreciate.
